I am having a Sky Tec pushbutton starter installed. I am removing the original pull starter. If the old starter comes out and is usable anyone can have it.

Wally. Thanks for the chuckle. My mind envisioned the engine starting the handle coming off knocking out the pilot the plane taxiing away on its own and the pilot coming to in the air wondering how did I get here. We should do a video.

Good wife, good friends & a Cessna 150. Life is good.

I had a hard-to-start lawn mover. I was giving it a hard pull one time when the cord broke, I lost my balance and fell flat on my back. Good thing I was standing on the grass and not the gravel driveway.

If it will work on my '67 150G I'll take it. I've rebuilt one starter already and always worry about the handle and the other 50 year old hardware that goes along with it.

We have a pull-starter at Clinton used for MX demos. I think it's my old starter from when I upgraded to a Sky-Tec. If it still works then use it and give us your old one.
