In search of a steering rod clevis P/N 0543023 and associated lock nut P/N AN316-6R. I need two of each.

Items 11 & 12 below

I MAY have a set or two out in the hangar that I have no need for. I will check tomorrow morning....

Copy that. A new AN316-6R nut is only $0.15 each from Aircraft Spruce.

Those pictures beg so many questions...

What problem were they trying to fix by welding those pieces?
Did they break? Why did they break? Did they break while on *this* plane, or were they salvaged from a wreck? And...

...well, I'll stop there. I can see why you want to replace those pieces!
