A guy three hangers down from me has his 152 for sale.

From the classified ads in The High Plains Journal:

1978 CESSNA 152II N48920, TT1738, 1-OWNER, always hangared, fresh annual, Collins Com/Nav. PH-580-233-4909.

It will also be listed in Trade-a-Plane. He has received some inquiries from the High Plains Journal ad.

That's a very low-time 152. That "one owner" apparently is not a flight school grin

Hung,

It was never owned by a flight school. Back in the '70s or early '80s he did use it commercially. He had an electric light grid suspended beneath the wings that produced moving messages at night. He would fly over football games and other public gatherings.

The total time I gave is what was in the newspaper ad. I was thinking the total was about 1,000 hours higher. Regardless, it is a low time plane.

I talked to the owner this morning. He was at the center where my wife is taking cardio rehab. He has lost his medical and has decided to sell the plane which he seldom flew any more. He did offer to let me fly it!

I'm not interested as I'm flush with planes at the moment.....Cindy would call it being triple flush but I'd like to see it regardless.

Sierra had 1,618 hours on her when I bought her so it'd be fun to look this one over just to compare.

I have no idea. Give him a call at the number in the ad.

SOLD! And flown home from Enid, OK to Palo Alto, CA.

Great plane! Inspecting mechanic: "That is the cleanest 152 I've seen in 33 years of being a mechanic."

Thank goodness I got it before a broker was able to sniff it out.
