That would be neat to have. But, $85,000 is a bit more than what two $25,000 airplanes are really worth. The real value comes from having serial # 001 and 79425. Basically, a match pair of .45's I guess.

Still.... pretty cool.

85K? This is actually reasonable, as prime-condition museum pieces.

I can't imagine buying the pair to FLY, except to places like Oshkosh or other meets.

A fully restored (good for another 40+ years) for 40 to 45k is a pretty good deal. With basic med now why spend 140k on a lite sport aircraft that does the same thing -assuming one can go basic med. Take the 100k you save over the LS and put it in the bank. The interest would pay your insurance and some fuel.

I really considered buying that restored A152 that was recently listed. I came to the conclusion I'd rather have a restored 150/150. I'd rather have the personal hot rod over light acro capability.

For me it's either going to be a very nice 150/150 or a bird dog. It's a toss up. + and - to each aircraft. Which ever comes along first (and cash in hand) is my attitude.

That last 150 would make a great candidate for a 150hp though.

+1.

It's a pretty bird.
