Bob - yeah - I've asked for better pics of a couple they have online.
John S - thanks - I saw that one online - too far gone for where I am aiming.
There is a fiberglass one from Aerofairings in Canada that I might fall back on - but for a good fit - it seems you need to do the upper and lower - which might not be a bad thing.

Somehow, they no longer carry it and the originator of the mold still has it in his posession. I believe there was some type of disagreement that ended the relationship, at least, that's what they told me.

I replaced mine in 1994 (the part cost about $263.00 back then which I thought was a fair price) and then again in 2014 before my paint job (the price went up to just under $1000.00!)
Unfortunately all the used/serviceable ones that I found were worse than mine so I bit the bullet and went new.
I also didn't want to go through this again so I was concerned about excessive vibrations contributing to its cracking so I went over the cowl mounts, eng baffle seals and any nose wheel shimmy issues.
Would love to hear how you make out and if you are able to find any alternatives (E.G. composites) out there........
