Attention: Price reduced

Members of this forum are aware of the personal cost of aircraft ownership. Sadly, a number of circumstances have occurred requiring that I sell N4629X and give up flying.

I want to give my Cessna family first crack at buying it before I put 29X on the open market:

Cessna 150G - Model Year 1967 - Built 1966
Tail Number: N4629X
Serial Number: 15064679
TTAF 5900
Engine SMOH 1405 (STOH 175)
Current Annual: March 2017
Prop SMOH: 1405
Cylinder Compression: 72, 78, 74, 78
Paint Condition: 9/10 (Painted 2009)
Interior plastic condition: 7/10
Interior carpet condition: 7/10
Complete logs and maintenance records. All AD’s complied with & documented.

Equipment: Bendix-King KY97-A comm-tranceiver, Narco Model A-50A Transponder with New Ack A30.9 Model 9 Altitude Encoder, & Navworx ADS-B; 91.411/91.413 Transponder & Altimeter Certification (August 2016), Navco Nav 121 VOR. PS Engineering panel mounted Intercom, PTT both yokes, PSA LED navigation & Whelen LED landing lights, Slick magnetos, SkyTek lightweight starter, Oil Filter Adapter, Belly drain, Custom panel mount for Adventure Pilot iFly740 GPS (or iPad), Hooker Harnesses, Wheel fairings, and one cheap Telex headset.

I’m also throwing in tow bar, tie-down kit, and an aluminum ladder, etc. along with all files I’ve accumulated on 29X’s history, including 2004 FAA CD.

N4629X is a good-looking, well-maintained airplane with a lot of upgrades and gave me over 1100 hours of safe, dependable flying. It also gets compliments from everyone who sees it.

Vref value (as configured): $30,800. I’m asking: $26,000 and offer it for $24,000 to Cessna 150-152 Club members.

N4629X is based at Reading Regional Airport (KRDG), in Reading, PA.

I have no regrets. I’ve had a good run as a private pilot for over 30 years. I’ve owned my 150 since 2004. I’ve made many new friends and have visited lots of interesting places in it. But justifying the cost of maintaining 29X has become increasingly harder since I retired!

Robert 67G! That's what I fly! But the G I fly compared to yours looks like Charlie's friend "Pig Pen".

Sorry you need to sell her. She is a beautiful airplane!

Beautiful and a GREAT one, too, I might add.

If anyone out there is looking for a truly nice 150, the Pennsylvania Duchess should end your search.

I've admired this plane at Clinton for many years. whistle

Best of luck, Robert......I hate to see this but you said the day was coming this spring and here we are. frown

It runs great, too. I know, I followed it to Clinton 4 years in a row and on numerous flights around Outkast Territory. Although, it tends to make a lot of bathroom stops on long trips. :-)

Here ya go Robert. Taken on my one and only flying attendance to the Confab. This was taken just as we arrived over the city of Clinton.

I have it as wallpaper on my computer.

So sorry to hear that, Robert. I know it's coming for all of us.

Thanks for the picture, Bruce. I've changed my Facebook cover photo to that one. I know it's not me, but it brings back so many memories of why we fly, it might as well be me!

I know it will sell soon, Robert. Very nice looking airplane! I hate that you are in a position to need to part with her. It is an expensive addiction, though!

Wayne, Not to hijack Robert's thread but I hope you and Robert can come this year in your 172.
Not the same without you two.
