I am looking to replace my Cessna Oil Filter Adapter with a F&M Adapter, but need a Continental Oil Screen (part# A-3568) to fill the void. The Cessna unit has a repetative AD, is somewhat of a "Mickey Mouse" design and I am just looking to get rid of it.

Chief Aircraft lists one for about $140, but it is on backorder for unknown time frame.

Hate to pay for a new one, as I just really need the cap section of the screen. The STC for the F&M Adapter required desoldering the screen from the cap for installation.

Anyone have a used oil screen lying around?

John, I have a used screen I just removed from my 150M. I purchased a used screen from a salvage yard so that I wouldn't have to mess around trying to desolder it in my hanger. I'd be glad to sell to you for a very reasonable price.
