A forum member came to look at my plane this morning. He put down a deposit and will come back in a few weeks to complete the purchase and fly the plane home. So the plane will "stay in the family". I'll let the new owner make the announcement of his purchase if he so chooses.
So glad to hear that Hung! Someone is getting a great airplane.
Left Keller Tx at 0230 hours Monday with my 7lb wolf mix Lily in her car seat and drove to meet Hung at 1000 hours. (What a great guy he turned out to be) Bought 4938H and turned around and drove back through the same rain and "Frisco" fog I had just encountered on the way back to Texas. Had to get back same night, Lily wanted to get a room, dogs get no choice in the Phillips house.
Today I have 1) a kitchen destroyed by a renovation project, 2) insurance handled, 3) a place to put 38Hotel, 4) a wife arriving home from Jupiter (the Fl city not the planet)5) word the daughter who was ill in Jupiter (the city) is better....All is right with the world.
Got to find a window to go back to Topeka to get my C152 in a few days. CU in Clinton....rick phillips
Very cool about the quick sale! Congrats on the awesome flying and plane ownership experiences all these years. You've been around the block...and then some!
Glad to hear you aren't going anywhere. You need to stick around to keep these guys honest (the gals are a given...ha.)
Hey BK, I think you should post some of the old pictures of you and Hung for the newer members!
Here are some pictures when BK "flew with me" from Topeka to Minnesota. After a while, she complained that she couldn't see over the panel, so I changed that.
