I am looking for an old, out of print, superseded twice, Army TB (Technical Bulletin). As I get closer to painting all the placards and marking on Barfly, I realize that I need an accurate reference to work from. Although I know she is not an actual L19, I want my rendition to be as accurate as possible.

I need a copy of TB 746-93-2, Painting and Marking of Army Aircraft. I have a digital copy of the latest addition (TM55-1500-345-23) but I really need the 12 January 1971 version. The L19 was removed from the copy I have.

If anybody has a copy, or even a lead on where I may find one, I would to hear about it!

Here is what the cover of the manual should look like except it should say 12 January 1971 on the bottom.

You can't have one.. It's a military secret.

I wonder if the Commemorative Air Force would have a copy in their library. Perhaps they can make a copy of the relevant pages for a small donation.

It looks like the SFO Aviation Museum has a copy from 1971 in their collection:

They don't lend stuff out, but perhaps they could photocopy the pages you need. You may want call them and see if they could do that for you:

Thank you for the leads guys! I guess my Google skills are a little lacking. LOL

I purchased the 4 Birddog Technical Drawings from the International Birddog Association. They were informative but lacking the fine details that I am looking for. I sent the IBDA an email inquiring about the manual/information that I seek. Hopefully since I have already made a purchase, they will be helpful.....
