I'm looking to buy a set of doors to fit my 1965 150 "E" model. Doesn't need to be '65, just so they fit.

Sure, I've got them.... but what's wrong with the ones you've got?

Correct me if I'm wrong here but I believe only the 65/66 doors will fit.64 and earlier are smaller and 67 and newer are bowed out and only have 2 hinges.

Nothing's wrong with the ones I have. I would like two spares to install dome windows on so I can switch them out when I want and maybe sell them if I don't like the dome windows. It all depends on what a spare set of doors might cost. smile

All of the straight-tails ('59 through '65) use the same door. Borrowed from the Cessna 120/140, but with three hinges instead of two. These doors are somewhat trapezoidal in shape.

The slant-tails, '66 and up, have a larger, rectangular, door that uses only two hinges.

1966 has a unique door - larger than the earlier door, but not bowed out like the later door.

1967 and up all use the same door.

Since you're going to replace the windows anyway, you'll be able to pick up a ratty pair of doors with broken windows fairly cheap. Price goes along with opportunity, though.

So, do you have a ratty pair of doors with broken windows fairly cheap?

A friend of mine picked up a pile of them from last February's consignment auction to resell as "art". I stripped window latches, door handles, and hinges from a few of the square doors in his pile, because I don't have any older 150s with the angled doors. He has been slinging them at craft fairs as wall hangers. http://www.wyldebyrd.com

I went to his web site. Nothing seems to work. I'll keep looking.
