I have placed a Skylane under contract, so my 150 must go. It has to be one of the nicer and best-equipped 150s around. Believe it or not (and I certainly would not have, prior to adding things up 3 times), since my purchase in July 2012, I have invested $64,616, NOT INCLUDING fuel & oil, flat rate annual charges, VFR certs, and all other fixed expenses. I am asking what I hope is a realistic $29,900, since I understand there is a limit to what a 150 will bring. My loss is your gain.

Edit: I have lowered the price. Regardless of how much I may have invested, I realize the 150 market is very price-sensitive. Therefore, my loss (stupidity?) will be the buyer's gain.

Looks good! I learned to fly in 1969 150's EXACTLY like that one.... even down to the red and paint scheme.

N60441 and N60472.

Best of luck, Fred.....someone will become the steward of one fine plane here.

With a 182 in the stable, will that mean the Cherokee will be looking for a home now also?

Yes. This all came about because my wife was not at all happy about having to climb up on the wing to get in and out of the PA-28, but it was sort of my deal with her that both planes must go if I "move up". My Cherokee is a very nice plane also, if anyone knows of someone looking for one, I would appreciate a referral.

Beautiful 150 Fred! I think you have it priced very reasonably. As I recall, AOPA wanted something in the $90's for theirs.

I can definitely understand your wife's position. Ingress/egress is a definite downer for low wing airplanes, besides everything getting wet if it is raining when you have to get in or out.

Good luck.

I have lowered the asking price to $29,900.00. Someone will get a good buy on a very nice 150.
