What year do you need? Left or right?

Initially, I was looking for both - my 150 was taxied into - and the thought was new wings might be less expensive that the sheet metal work. (and it would get rid of the hail damage). It is repaired now, so I'm flying again... and that is good.

And the story of why you needed new or repaired wings has appeared in the July issue of FLYING magazine on page 70. "... and source of huge embarrassment involved the scratch I put in my Cub's brand-new metal propeller ... and the bent metal in the left wingtip of Dave Thurston's Cessna 150."

It was Martha Lunken? I wonder if she had time to complete the 709 ride before hitting the other wing.

If it was HER [flyingmag.com] , I'm surprised that such an experienced pilot, ATP, CFI...can cause those mishaps.

All of the hours of experience are not as important as the next minute of activity. More ratings just mean less excuse.

I remember about 40 years ago, when old man Cable taxied his T-6 into Pomona PD's shiny new Hughes 500.

In his defense, they were in a no-parking zone (stopped for lunch), and it was HIS (private) airport, but there's really no excuse for running into an object which isn't moving and isn't invisible.
