Interesting project! My 150D also has the horizontal DG and a crappy AI. I'm waiting for the release of the Dynon STC to seriously look into replacing the AI for their EFIS, assuming I'll be able to afford it.

My priority is to get 04U safer for night flying and eventually for light IFR.

I also shudder to think of possibly ending up with a problem plane. Actually, I'm learning a lot from all of you on just how to avoid problems.

I tend to be very cautious....a scarredy cat...Ha!

Still looking for that dream 65E.....

But I'm still learning and when I saw that 64D in Tucson, I knew she would be bought up quickly!

So when I have the dough, someone has to find me the perfect E!
