I just replaced my Slick 447 magnetos and harnesses with Bendix. I kept my lightly used harnesses that fit the 447 magnetos. The 447 magneto requires the harness to thread into the magneto cap, they are not part of the cap like the newer ones.
They are blue and have the formed 90* ends at the spark plug end. I don't think they have but 50 hours on them. I had them made when I could not locate ready made harnesses and they are in great condition.
Still have the paperwork also.
If you are interested PM me, I will get the exact hours and the receipt, then you make me an offer that works for you.
If no one here wants them I will put them on e-Bay.

To be honest I'm still running the 447 mags and they work great (also just did the 500 hr inspection), but they're for-sure showing their age. A couple years ago I found a new original harness for sale at Prefered Airparts which I purchased, otherwise I would have taken yours.
Were your old 447 mags toast, and how do you like the Bendix mags so far??

The 447 mags were still working but the left mag had a bearing starting to get noisy. This was found when the mag was off last year for another reason. I still had a little more than 100 hours left on them but wanted to get them swapped due to the bearing. I would have stayed with the 447's and had them gone through but after checking into it thought it better to go with the Bendix.
The bendix are fine no problems. They are much less expensive to buy and parts are now much less expensive than Slick mags. Continental is working hard at getting market share.

Ok thanks for the reply Eric. I'll keep an eye on mine and most likely will follow down the same road.

Does anyone know if the harnesses will fit slick 4301 mags?

Jason, I don think they will fit the 4301. As I recall the 4301 mags have the harnesses in the cap. The 447's have the harnesses thread into the cap using a male nut.
