Saw this for sale in Ontario. For anyone needing an engine this is a smoking deal with the exchange the way it is.

I don't know if that engine can be used in a 152. It's an O-235-C1. Older 152s use O-235-L2C and newer 152s use O-235-N2C.

I messaged the seller and they say it's out of a C152.

Could this be installed on a 150?

Possibly under Owner Maintenance, otherwise I don't think so.

If I were going to the trouble of changing motors, I'd go with 150hp.

Right. Not interested in Owner maintenance. I am either looking for a new (replacement) O-200A or a new airplane. That's a very good price on the O-235 so I just thought maybe it would be a viable option.

Tough pickings in Canada for both good engines and good airplanes frown

It's in my backyard - almost literally, if anyone wants eyeballs on it.

No... there is no STC that I am aware of according to the FAA that will allow a 150 to use the O-235.
