I put down a deposit today on a 150 project I will pick up next weekend. It comes with a child seat in very good condition that I will not be needing. PM me if interested. Cash offers and nude pictures accepted.

I'd love one... but the USD exchange rate would make any offer I would be able to afford rather insulting.

Well... There is one for sale nearly in my backyard - asking $900 CAD.

Which is out of my budget.

I lived in Canada from 2009-2011 and pretty much everything in Canada was costing 50% more than the US even though back then the exchange rate was very close to one.

Makes $900 CAD look cheaper - but still out of my budget. Supply and demand I guess...

What's particularly annoying about the AvFab seat is that the STC is not transferable. So, to be perfectly legal, you have to send the seat back to them to have them re-certify the hardware and issue a new STC. The cost is about equal to buying a new seat.

Kendal,

Can you get all of those birds into your hangar? What year 150 is the seat out of?

I'm trying. I put in an electric hoist last weekend to help free up some floor space so we could have an area available to lay out the storage loft. I can cram the new project in the gaps, but there's no room for the 172, 310, or Fouga.

The seat is out of a 1975 150M.
