A sad day is here. I'm going to part out my 1966 150. I love the plane but I just can't swing the expense. It has new seats by TN wings, LED lights, new carpet, headliner, a new windshield, I have side windows and a new rear window in the box. An engine overhaul is just too pricey. Name your price for the whole thing.

Here's a link to the project page.https://www.cessna150152.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=32435&Number=487609#Post487609

Well... based on the magnitude of your sweat investment, this must be a tough decision.

I may be interested in the rear window separately if you go that way - depending on price and confirmation that it will fit an M.

I'd possibly be interested in the overhead cabin light if it's the same for a 67 G model and it is in good condition. PM me.

I would be interested in the kick panels L&R and left door post cover, and possibly the door panels if they fit a 69 J
thanks

Richie,

I'm on my third O-200 build. I have spare parts accumulated and have learned how to keep the cost down. Are you sure you want to part out a perfectly good airplane?

If it can pass an annual, why sell? You can run an 0-200 well past TBO.

My apologies for not getting back to everyone sooner. It was an easy decision to ground the plane when the oil pressure headed south. I would pull the prop through and it felt like it had one good cylinder. I'm trying to do what I can to keep the plane flying. I've had a career change and I'm not making that sweet oil patch money anymore. The yachts and airplanes are usually the first to go in dire economic times.

That being said, I need to overhaul the engine and just don't have that cash to blow on a nonessential part of my life as fun as that hobby may be. My crank is garbage and I have a few other big ticket items like a new oil pump (possibly assesory case), four new cylinders, and the associated gaskets and misc. parts. The worst thing that could happen is for the plane to sit so I figured why not let the masses have a crack at buying it. So far nobody has made an offer for the whole thing.

If I could find an 0-200 off a flipped over 150 I'd take it. I'd like to own a plane for a long time -especially after practically rebuilding it and building a hangar. It is an amazing tool to have and comes in handy for my coastal restoration efforts. If anyone knows of an 0-200 for a somewhat reasonable price send me looking.
