Magnum Aviation of San Martin Airport, CA (E16) is selling it's C-150 trainer. Main well-known reasons: it's not renting because of the plane's inherent weight and size limitations.
The chief mechanic Steve Lamb says it has only a few hundred hours SMOH. It's been well maintained by the FBO. Paint/interior are 5 out of 10. Make an offer.

I asked Steve how much? He said "I was thinking $17,000."
I said "would you take $15,000?"
He said "probably." As I said in my original post:

As for TT, good question. I'll ask and get back to you. I will be going to see Steve this week. I'll also ask about the condition and completeness of the log books, and about previous owners, etc.
Are you interested, Glen?

Sorry .... No.

I'm going to sell 71Q before I retire in February and am keeping an eye on the market.

Surprisingly low. Less than 4000. In the mid- to high- 3000's. I forget the actual number. Check with Magnum.

That's quite low time for a trainer. Maybe people are getting too heavy to rent it.
