Bracket mounts between the oil reservoir and the block. Mine is broken and had already been repaired once. I need this immediately as the jugs should be back Thursday.

(DuH!...I would make one mo-betta than original out of stainless)
...nobody will pay that, but that's how Cessna parts are prices, NOT on original prices from the 1970's, but based on what a NEW 150 built TODAY would cost.
I'm sure Glen's original bracket was welded before, and doing that they eventually crack again. Make a new one, it's LEGALLY ALLOWED. If your A&P chokes, get someone else.
Not the illustrated one. This is like a rod type that has a flat surface which is mounted between the oil reservoir and the bottom of the block. It may also support the exhaust pipe as well.
It holds the throttle cable in a static position just off the carb.

OK- I think what you want is the tube shaped bracket that mounts on the oil tank flange and supports the exhaust pipes, and there is a metal tab welded on...but that (I believe) is for the mixture, not the throttle.
The Cessna parts book illustrations for the engine (Fig.56) suck. The part you might be looking at is called BRACE ASSY EXHAUST STACK p/n 0450340-1 $1273.02
I had mine welded last year. Cost me $35 when the little retainer broke/creacked off.
Right again oh wise one. Looks like we're going to knock off the old repaired flange and put a new weld in place. I didn't want to repair a repair so that makes me happy.
Brian, you are correct it does mount the mixture control cable not the throttle.
Maybe...just maybe I'll get to fly the Commander for a bit tomorrow.... Stars are aligning.
