I have the original Cessna 300 nav com and would like to switch it out. Ideally would like to find a mx300, but I think there is also a narco slide in replacement as well. Anyone with either for same let me know.

I really like the Narco Mk12D, and you see them on eBay all the time. Here is a nice one, except I think this seller is dreaming on the price:

That is high - especially for just a basic one. If you can locate a + version, and maybe with glide slope capability... That might be worth chasing.

I am not aware they ever made the + version as a Cessna replacement radio. I got a real deal on a Mk12D+ on eBay that is on the shelf as a spare for the one in my 150.

Hi John. You might want to call Dawson Aviation in Clinton, Arkansas (you can Google the number). They have a pretty extensive salvage yard and you might be able to get an MX300 from them. I have an MX300, and you can get those at least with a glide slope (ours has one).

Thought that it'd be better to tag on this thread instead of starting another - I too am looking for an RT-328T, Mk12D (if it is a 1 to 1 pull out replacement) or a MX300. Please contact me via PM if anyone knows of any available. Thanks!
