Anybody happen to have a serviceable shimmy damper to fit a 150M they they'd be willing to sell for a reasonable sum? Mine is leaking and in need of a rebuild. I'd like to try the rebuild myself but don't quite have the guts to pull my current one before I learn what I am doing.

Thanks.
Jim

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Gene. I think I get the steps but my mechanic's not on field so the idea of rebuilding another one without grounding my plane is reassuring.

Call Bob at PSA Enterprises. Tell him that I sent you. They have the rebuild kits.

James, it just a couple of o-rings I think a roll pin and a snap ring. Make sure you fill it all the way up with oil. smile Check for looseness on the shimmy damper connection points.

Try Kirk's method, from the Tech FAQ section:

Make sure the problem is not a loose scissor link, there is a rebuild kit.
