We start the Contests on Wednesday afternoon. We will have the Nerf Drop/Spot Landing Contest each morning and afternoon. The Poker Run and Scavenge Contest at done at your leisure and time frame.

You will need a co-pilot for contest. You will fly while your co-pilot drops the Nerf ball onto the target. They will ride as you make your Spot Landing within GREEN ACRES. They will also help you in the scavenger hunt and poker run.

You can be a Pilot and a co-pilot for someone else.

See "2015 Confab Schedule" on page 12 of the NOTAM. The big yellow boxes are the Nerf Drop & Spot Landing contests. You do the Scavenger Hunt and Poker Run on your own schedule, if you want to do them.

So, at each of those times indicated by the yellow boxes, people will be able to compete in either the Nerf Drop or the Spot Landing contest? There's not one block of time for just one particular contest, is that right?

Can I do both contests in the same block of time? Also, if I want to be a pilot in the Nerf Drop and then be a bombardier, can I do both of those in the same block of time?

Thanks for your help, Hung. I want to do EVERYTHING, and I'm just trying to figure out how to do that!

You will do both the Nerf drop and the Spot Landing at the same time indicated.

You (in a flight of up to 6) will depart the pattern and the first pass you will have your TOA (Target Acquisition Officer) will drop the 1st of 3 nerf balls. On the next pass you will attempt to land in GREEN ACRES.

You will do this a total of 3 times.

Mark Buchner will give instructions and answer questions in a Briefing before each contest.
