Yeah, I know. I remember reading that, too! Bummer! Of course, you could always limit flap travel, but that also limits the airplane's usefulness for some situations. Not worth it just for aesthetics, I suppose.

It was just a pipe dream of mine, anyway. frown

That's the problem with pipe dreams Carl, they often go up in smoke cry

Still, it would have looked pretty cool.

Hello Joe

The kit does have the gear box. I removed all the parts from a 66 tail wheel converted fuse that my father never finished. I have lots of photos and I'll give instructions on how it all goes together. Like Gordon said, I have the legs up here in Alaska and he has the rest down in Texas. it's about $120 to ship the legs down south. Everything you need is there except the one piece heavy belly band. I sent Gordon a paper template instead of shipping one to him. The tail wheel portion is the much improved but still approved style that I have been running on my plane for 10 years. Very strong and tight. Gordon is a good guy, he has decided not to build his project and is selling all the parts to cut his losses. I'll support who ever buys it in order to get it completed.

Mike
