anyone want a ARC 3 lite marker beacon receiver to fill those three holes under the eybrow? Yours for the cost of a USPS box.

If it's the one I'm thinking of it's like this one on Ebay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cessna-ARC-R-402A-Marker-Beacon-Receiver-GC-/231013599334

It mounts remotely and the lights can be mounted anywhere, but Cessna mounted them in an existing bracket behind the plastic fascia in the eyebrow of later 150's (left side of the rear view mirror). Engraved fascias are available. Along with installing the com switches in the right side fascia, the need for a separate com panel/marker beacon receiver is eliminated, freeing space in the radio stack. I did this on Russ Anderson's Aerobat years ago, so we could mount a second MX-300.

No, it is a receiver made to fit behind the cutouts in the eyebrow. Dumpster day is tomorrow so answer fast if you want it. Plug up power & ground and a MB antenna and you have a marker beacon.

If the marker beacon receiver is still available, I'll take it. I've been thinking about getting an instrument rating. I already have a nav/com with a glide slope. Adding a marker beacon would enable me to do most of the training in my own plane.

Joey, I'm curious. I've never seen one like that by ARC/Cessna. I searched through my Cessna Avionics installation CD's and find no mention of an eyebrow mounted "ARC 3" receiver. Only remotely mounted ARC 300/400 units, like the one on Ebay, which uses a separate light module mounted in the eyebrow. Is there an ID plate on it?

Again, just curious. Trying to learn, here.
