Hi,

Looking for a C150M Pilot's seat base (Seat P/N is 0414053-1) to replace my BER cracked seat base. I'm willing to buy the entire seat with the back set. Thanks.

Call Shelby at TnWings. [tnwings.com].

He just might have what you're looking for.

And if not, the salvage yards would probably be the avenue for you?

Thanks a lot for the links and suggested sites. I am looking at several salvage parts and so far have no luck. The one on eBay belongs to an earlier Model. I'm checking with Cessna and see how much would cost...

I'm pretty sure Cessna doesn't have them. I checked Dawson's Aircraft Salvage [aircraftpartsandsalvage.com] which lists salvage parts by part number, and they don't seem to have what you are looking for. Like Poobs said, Shelby may be your best bet.

Edgar, you say your seat is BER but that may not be the case.
How about a picture of the crack(s)
and Others have had great luck with Shelby at TN Wings.

Hi Ronald, just in case I am attaching a picture of the cracked area around the previous welding of my Pilot's seat. Shelby gave me good information about where to go. Ce$$na has none in stock and I'm pending on answers from few salvage yards. I was prepared for the revival process following Poobs advice just in case. Mark, thanks for the help by checking at Dawson's Aircraft Salvage.

Boy, Edgar. That crack looks nasty! I wonder if a good A&P couldn't weld that and return to service?
