Well, Don. I hope you still visit here.

What are you "upgrading" to? At times, I would like to have a C-182. I use our 150 for business trips occasionally, and if the interstate is going the same way (like from Memphis to Nashville or Memphis to Little Rock), I can drive as fast as I can fly (and I don't exceed the speed limit), by the time you figure in the door-to-door time. If I could get up to 130 kts or so, it would help me justify flying. Flying costs more when I figure in getting a rental car on the other end. I don't think it will be happening for me, though, since the better half isn't able to fly with me anymore (disabled).

We still plan to visit the annual con fab in the corn, but in a 1960 c-172. in our 150 its us and full fuel and 53 pounds of luggage. Would sure be nice to carry another 8 lb air mattress and a pillow!!!! That's what we have our eye on. Il love to see it sold to "one of us" so we can visit it again!
