I Have been cleaning the garage lately and found a 3 pieces McCauley wheel C-30260. Looks good no visible crack. Complete with disc (a bit rusty and 0.195 thick)
Make an offer

Fred, is the McCauley 3 piece wheel for the main gear on a Cessna 1550? If so, do you still have it for sale?

I have an L model that could use one.

Hi Phil
I sadly found a crack while inspecting it with a magnifying glass a couples of minutes ago. I've dismantled entirely the wheel, removing the disc as well and found the inner flange (on the disc side) with a small crack (about 3/16'' long hairline crack). Unless you are interested in getting it to part it out and repair your wheel, this one is not useable like this.
Very sorry I tought it was perfect. I am glad I caught it before selling/shipping.

Thanks, Fred.

Actually, I have a flange in the hangar, but can't remember whether it is an inner or outer flange.

If I can use the wheel, I will contact you. Thanks for catching the crack.

Phil
