Wow...they return your calls? I have had about 4 phone calls into Western to find out about my Lycoming Crank. Finally gave up and pulled the prop to make sure I didn't have one of the SB'd units. Their paperwork didn't say they DID replace the crank, but it was silent on the topic.
Western Cylinder is (was) not half bad from my experience. My last contact with them was a while ago, and I just walked into their hangar. If they give you grief let me know, I can try to get them to talk
