I thought I was posting this note on the Buyers/sellers forum last night but I guess I was tired and instead had it in the "everything else" spot. So here we go again.
Someone should kick my rear end!! I'm sure my wife will do just that when she finds out that I just ordered a new Airmap 600 GPS. I just couldn't resist all that color!
I now have an Airmap 500 that is for sale. I was just going to put it on Ebay but then realized that possibly some one in the club might be interested.
I have had it for just over a year and a half. Looks good and works just like new.(It said a few minutes ago that it is 1030 miles from my back yard to Clinton CWI)
It comes with the yoke mount that is not in the picture and a bunch of accesories. Some of the things like the CD roms (two) Map Create, a card reader etc. I have never even taken out of the wrappers.
Anyone interested, send me an Email and we can dicker/talk a little about a price.
If I havent heard from anyone within about a week I will go ahead and hit Ebay.

Well i got the plane home after a 6 hour cross country and leaving class C airspace (Yikes I was never trained for such busy airports but did. There needs to be a little work the most being that damm thing that you check the fuel for water above the wing tends to drip once in awhile order a new one the mechanic he slip it on for free!! and some fuses are just plain old!!! still work but there old!! all put some new ones in tommorow. otherwise plane runs nice in that 6 hours it might have been 5 1/8 oil stick and is now 5 slightly over. but could be the same....

Jared,

Do you have a GPS on board the plan now? If you get the Airmap 500, I think you'll be happy. I got mine from Herb Rose a couple of weekends ago, and love it!

Congrates on the new plane and best wishes with it. Post some pics when you have time.
