Looking to buy a tail flashing beacon assembly for a 1967 C150G.
Need the lens and the parts to hold it in.

Please reply ASAP if you have one you'd like to sell. smile

Ron,

The one you pointed to is for a 152, does it fit Amy's 1967 150? Don't know if the 24v is also a factor.

Yes it is a factor.

Why is Amy, who has a 1976 Cessna 150 M, need a beacon for a 1967 Cessna 150 G model?

I've corrected my assumption.

I've got a few. How about $30.00 sound?

Mail me a check or pay on pay pal. Send me your address and I'll box it up. Shipping should be less than $10.00.

The beacon is not for my plane. I have a '76 M, not a '67 G. smile

A guy at my airport with a '67 G knocked his off by not opening the hangar door up all the way. I am supposed to start flying it for him to keep it from sitting, since he doesn't have his pilots license.

Michael, that sounds GREAT! I'll talk to the owner a bit later today and see what he wants to do. Thanks so much for the quick responses. smile

Amy, have you looked at the damage yet? The plastic fin cap would probably give way before the beacon itself (especially if it is old and brittle). The beacon itself might still be good, but needs a new fin cap to mount on!

Just thinking out loud.

Carl, I didn't look at it myself, but apparently not even the bulb was smooshed.

Thanks guys, I believe I have a line on what I need in CA.
