If you have any issues, such as downloading a new database from Garmin (if you want to), contact me and I can maybe help out. The original download cable is 9-pin serial. If you don't have a 9-pin serial port available on your computer, I was able to get it to work using a 9-pin to USB adapter, which I included. ==>> Looks like I'm "stepping away" from aviation after all.
