I'm looking for the aluminum fairings around the gear legs. The ones on my L project have cracks and corrosion.

How much for the cap atop the vertical stab? Looking to make a camera mount for my 152.

The cap atop the vertical stab is the only thing that broke on the tail, the strobe stuck up just enough.

Are these the gear fairings you need? I took a bunch of pictures, if you are interested PM me with your email address.

This is the best picture of the firewall I could get without moving a bunch of stuff.

I'm really new to all this aviation stuff. I've only had my PPL 3 months and my 150 just a few months longer than that. I was kind of sad reading through all the posts and seeing the pictures of the plane. It felt like someone had died. But then I remembered my son is the recipient of a heart transplant. So, it's good.

Regina, it is kind of sad to know there is one less in the fleet, but the parts are going to good homes. I most likely will not have a moment of silence before I take the remains to the scrap yard, but it will still feel a little weird.

You say you are new to flying, there is a lesson about scud running from this. The pilot said the engine quit, so he landed on the road. The wing clipped the Speed 35 sign, and it ended like this. The engine ran fine on the ground for the NTSB. Carb ice maybe? Very few options when you have trouble and are this low.

Thanks for the warning. That was a perfect example: the low clouds in the sky and the torn-up plane on the ground.

1. How are the doors? Pilot and Passenger? I wonder if the doors on a C-150L would fit on a C-150H?

2. What kind of landing gear does it have? What condition? Bent or in good condition? Flat metal spring? I wonder if the landing gear on a C-150L would fit on a C-150H?

==>> Looks like I'm "stepping away" from aviation after all. Bye, folks!
