Mine is the same way. It was made it Oct. 66 but the serial number says 67.

There used to be a fella with a yard full of airplane parts, a couple of exits south, down I-16 on the left. Last time I tried looking for his place, I couldn't find it, or maybe he cleaned it up or the vegetation had grown tall enough to hinder seeing it fron the Interstate.

I wasn't paying attention and didn't see this thread. If your source doesn't work out, I think I've got a pair I'd let go for $150.
