I was suprised the fuel gages worked and interior and instrument lights worked well. I replaced an old radio with the upgraded MX-300-easy slide-in. I also velcroed my Garmin 92 to the left door post against the left-top of the instrument panel. Mine is the commuter red/white
Bruce, Sounds great. This one is the blue/white commuter, has the MX-300, and he may throw in a Garmin.
It needs a pasenger side (Left) strut/fuselage drag reducer (I can't believe I can't think of the name...too excited aboout delivery tomorrow).
Chris, I had to replace the top vertical fairing on the tail of mh plane. I shopped around some and got my best price from Texas Aeroplastics- BuyPlaneParts.com - on 800 phone no. but they saved me about $30 for that fairing. Our origional fairings are plastic but my replacement was much more sturdy made of fiberglass. Their ph. no. 817 491 4735 or 817 430 3651 to place an order. Chris I do not know how to start a new thread but I would like to discuss leaning C-200 below 3000', especially when flying at 55% power. Bruce

That fancy filigree paint design aft of the door looks familiar.... Has anyone else see it before? I'm pretty sure I saw that at Clinton one year. I'm wondering if it's the same plane, or if that was an optional Cessna trim design found on more than one plane.

Kirk, It's a standard Commuter or Commuter II logo available thru Moody Aerographics. I think they were offered on the 70's year models, though I can't remember right off hand. I've already scanned one into my 'puter at work, cleaned it up and it's ready to cut.
Pictures don't show it, but the paint is pretty bad.
9ED came with a very poor paint job and other "battle scars." But, it is a great flying machine and I cannot see any of the blemishes from the pilot's seat!

Right you are Bill. She's mine, and from here on out gets the right treatment. Paint will come when time and money allow. TSMOH is 200 hours and TTAF is about 3500. I'm really happy.
