We're looking for a '59-'63 tailwheel 150 converted with the David Lowe STC. Will also consider a '59-'63 nosewheel 150 that is in nice shape.

We'll broaden our search if we're unsuccessful, but thought we'd start here.

We're located in Northern California.

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff,
I saw a clean '59 C150 that's in So Cal, polished aluminum and black on barnstormers.com. It however has a nosewheel and seems like a decent price. It looked real clean, I don't know if I could put a tailwheel on it, just too nice of an airplane.

Hi Niall,

Thanks for pointing out that beautiful 150A. I had run across it and also thought it looked really nice as it was. The engine has 1900+ hours on it and I was hoping to find an aircraft with lower engine times (isn't everyone). Our last aircraft had a run out engine on it and I'm not keen to turn around and overhaul in the short term.

Thanks for your reply.

Jeff

There is a 1959 on Ebay right now. SMASH HERE [cgi.ebay.com] It will need some paint but it does not look that bad. It is a nose dragger but David could fix that for you. He may even be able to paint the tail when he does the conversion. David Lowe [taildraggeraviation.com]
