Welcome to the Club Michael.

The Sparrow Hawk has a progressive pitch that is unlike the standard pitch arrangement. Unless you can get your prop shop to produce the pitch numbers for the Sparrow Hawk prop and then re-pitch your prop using those numbers you will have to buy the STC from the folks makers of the Sparrow Hawk modification.

With the Sparrowhawk conversion comes the choice between a 52" pitch and a 54" pitch Sensenich 72" dia. prop. Climb vs. cruise respectivly. Thanks all for the welcome shout. I have been a homebuilt affectionado for a long time. My 18 year old son, soon to be CFI has done most all of his time in this Sparrowhawk. It and he has given me cause to get my A&P. Kinda wished I'd joined the list before taking on 25255's restoration.
Thanks all!
