Yes, I know it's not a 150 or 152. It is, however, a great 4 place IFR aircraft for cross country work.
Tired of planes that look great on the internet and something else in person? You will not be disappointed with N7783N! 83N is an exceptionally clean 1968 Piper Cherokee PA-28-180D that someone will be proud to treasure.
This is the best performing PA28 I’ve flown and I’m in no hurry to sell this exquisite aircraft so don’t waste our time with any lowball offers. If you want a cheaper plane go somewhere else. If you’re a serious Cherokee buyer, you will want this one when you see it in person!
In 1998 the aircraft was refurbished with all new flight instruments and radios as well as being stripped and repainted in the original Piper scheme. 83N has been hangar kept since then.
In 2011, I had an executive glove-soft two-tone brown leather interior with confor foam installed (done by the same company that did Bill Gates, Ozzy Osborne, Kurt Russell and several other high profile celebrities!) – you can now fly for HOURS in comfort.
January annual with no issues; replaced sparkplugs and put all new seals in the right main gear. October – replaced alternator with a remanufactured unit. Schedule a pre-buy in conjunction with an annual and fly her home.

N7783N
Airframe TT: 2,628
“Bulletproof” Lycoming O-360-A4A (2000 TBO) – SMOH: 928(done in ’98)
Engine runs strong and smooth. Burns 1qt of oil every 8-10 hours. Last five years of compressions at annual: 68/77/76/74; 74/75/72/74; 76/74/74/78; 72/73/72/74; 70/74/74/72.
McCauley Prop: 928 since overhaul.
Times will change as the plane is flown weekly
Complete logs and no known corrosion.
75% cruise at 140mph IAS!!!

IFR certified
King KMA24 audio panel
Narco MK-12D dual nav/comms (one g/s, one VOR)
Narco AT150 transponder with Mode C
Sigtronics 4-place intercom
Narco ADF31a (inop but have a replacement unit that worked when removed from another aircraft)

Single axis Piper auto-pilot

Belly strobe
Ski/gun/fishing pole extended baggage compartment
Flat compass card
Pilot toe-brakes

Barney, you are depressing me. It means my "B" model is probably in the mid $30's now. Gorgeous bird and take it from experience folks....will fly circles around a 150/150. (But the shade sucks in the Alvord Desert)

Barney will you do a land contract style payment? smirk

I want a 180 or a Mooney. I can't decide. What does the insurance cost?

Yes it has a solid crankshaft.

Insurance costs will vary depending on the individual and value placed on hull coverage. This year's cost was $750 thru Aviation Unlimited Agency.
