Some of you might be interested . My club at KMNN is selling a Schweizer 1-26B for $5000, no trailer. Max pilot weight in this one is 176 lbs. PM me if interested. Annual Feb 2012.

The newer models of the 1-26 carry a lot more. The one I fly will allow a 228 lb pilot. It is a 1-26E model. I won't tell you how close I come to being too fat.
I see a lot of thin glider pilots, but not so many power pilots. Kinda figures.
The price on this one is low because we need to generate some cash and this one doesn't get flown much. In better times we would ask about $7k for it.

That's just how it is done! Local CAP Wing Just towed three gliders from NH to PA and back for an event in PA. You'll need a glider pilot - a light one apparently. wink
