Out of my price range, but sure looks like someone will get a good one (at least visually).

Is this a club member?

Why would somebody put that much time, effort and money into a Cessna 150 just to turn around and sell it?

Even if it is what it says it is, I wish the seller good luck!

Sudden change in finances or health?

I'm going through something similar. In December '09 I took apart my engine for an overhaul. In April '10 my wife and I unexpectedly found a house to buy.

My engine was too worn to reassemble and sell the plane (crack in crankshaft, among other things). And a plane without an engine is worth next to nothing.

So I continued the overhaul, prepared that if unexpected house (or child) expenses hit, I can more easily sell the plane.

WHOA!

That number looks familiar....

...was this plane a Purdue University plane?

I bid on two 150's being auctioned off by Purdue U. about four years ago.

Looks suspiciously like one of them.
