Well, it actually is a 1977 in the eyes of the FAA. N757BU [registry.faa.gov] . But the photos in the listing aren't right.

So that makes it a 1978 MODEL 152 Built in 1977. wink

The thing is, if Cessna was still building 152's, based on the price of the Skycatcher and new 172's, that price probably wouldn't be far off for a new 152 smile. Everything depends on your perspective.

Maybe George would part with it but not sure. I am still looking at various planes but not sure what avenue to take presently. What I really want I can't afford with pending retirement. The Stock Market isn't helping.

Well, if that's not worth $185,000 what is?

What ya looking at Dale? I'm heading the LSA route, probably an ELSA. I like the Zenith 750, but then if I could find a Champ at a decent price.....

Well I own one S-LSA now for fun and am liking the idea of something like a souped up Avid Flyer or Highlander. I want something I can operate out of the pasture and not need a hanger at an airport.
