O-200A removed from Cessna 150J, complete with mags, starter, alternator, and carburetor. TT 5445, SMOH 1845. Running good when removed 9/30/2011, $5900. Rome, GA 706-346-7557 I simply saw the listing and know nothing else about this. I did note that the add said nothing about logs. It may just have been an oversight. You'd need to call to find out. | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 25,395 Likes: 991 Member/25,000 posts | Member/25,000 posts Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 25,395 Likes: 991 | O-200A removed from Cessna 150J, complete with mags, starter, alternator, and carburetor. Doesn't sound like a great deal. | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 4,842 Likes: 259 Member/2500+posts | Member/2500+posts Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 4,842 Likes: 259 | O-200A removed from Cessna 150J, complete with mags, starter, alternator, and carburetor. If it were me I wouldn't pay his asking price. | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 766 Member/750+posts | Member/750+posts Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 766 | I have an 0200 in my garage. It came off a 150 last May and it is bolted to a professional crate. Approx 1400hrs, all logs. Rebuilt by Buldoc Aviation in 1989. 10 under crank, 30 over cylinders (could be 20? can't remember here at work) Come with Bendix mags (unkown condition) a pull (with gear) and key starter, MA3-SPA. All ports are blocked off, and it has the Accessory case.
I spoke with the original owner and know the history. I haven't advertised it yet because there is a guy with a Cub who may want it for the conversion, but he is not very committed or responsive so let me know if you're interested and I'll send you some pics.

Compared to what was on the market when I picked it up last September, it was a deal. Not so much now.

At 1845 hours, this engine and all its accessories are nothing but cores.
