And NOT in the airplane (but it will be)

I decided Tim's airplane was my opportunity to get a trainer for my IFR ticket. I'd been shopping for radios to make one of my two current 150s into a decent IFR bird, but it was easier to just buy his. I do not need more than two 150s (one for me and one for my A&P/IA), so I will be putting a VFR equipped one up for sale.
The missions I have planned for Tim's bird mainly center on getting to the California beach as often as I can. For that, I need the ability to get through coastal fog and cloud layers. If I wait until I get my Warrior project finished and IFR capable, I'll be considerably older. I want to make those flights to swim and surf while still relatively young.
Of course, the new plane is also the new project. The current rough paint job is going to have to go and I've already started making arrangements. So, don't expect it to stay red and green much longer.
Anyway, I've got airline tickets to buy. Number One Daughter will likely go with me and we'll have an adventure. This will be a great opportunity for both of us to get to see some people we've been missing and gain some stories to tell.

The clock is missing! Way funny Mark! Kendel, congrats on your new-to-you 150! Can't wait to hear about your trip with your daughter and how you will ever manage to get back to AZ without that clock (I told Tim to send it to me). You and your lovely daughter will have a blast. Tim, I like that your plane is staying in the Club. Congrats on the quick sale Buddy. I'm good to go.

I'm also excited to hear it stays in the country, stays in the club, and Tim's daughter can go to MIT, now. Good luck with the plane, Kendell.
