Tried that last week, he says, "we are not there yet" but they are hiring a TON of family members AND promoting a few VP's. frown

Kirk said my paycheck was my appreciation. I wanted to tell him what I was told in my last job interview.

Recognized??? What the hell are they saying? That's arguably one of the dumbest things I've heard ever.

Maybe you oughta have them sit up front with you on a stormy day.

I like that idea!

.....and force them to do a continuous instrument scan, with no cocktail in hand.

Tough decision!
I hope it won't be too long before you are back in the saddle.

Tim,

Good friend of mine is being transferred overseas for about 2 years and cannot take his plane with him. The airplane is set up for him - the product of a lot of work. So he won't sell, only to rebuy.

Therefore, three good, trusted friends, two are CFIs and one is a private, instrument, have entered into a contract with him to pick up hangar fees, maintenance (except for set aside for overhaul and other major items, and promise to fly it at least once a week to keep it exercised. Financially, the owner will not be out much (loan payment essentially), the rest is being handled by eager friends who want an airplane they can treat as their own, have the money for ops cost and maintenance, just don't have the capital to buy it.

Don't know if it is something you might consider... If so, PM me and I'll send you a draft version of the agreement they reached.

Might let you keep your steed until things turn around.

Warmest regards,
Rick
