Keep your fingers & toes crossed and hope for the best. I don't think there's enough hangar space at Clinton or neighboring airports to shelter the 50-60 planes at the fly-in.
One year, we were all away at the banquet dinner in town when a big storm went through the airport. Luckily, there was no damage.

Yes, it could happen, but in 11 years of the event, it has not.

As far as hail? Isn't that the reason we carry insurance? One way to get an airplane all refurbished. Or, the thrill to go airplane shopping with cash in hand!

AVEMCO always sent an adjuster to Oshkosh and Sun-n-Fun, mostly to work the booth but just in case. Of course we had Charlie Hillard's accident in 1996 while at Sun-N-Fun but that was a horrible day, still don't like talking about it.
