Hi all!

So, who of you has the best light-weight tie-down system for travel to fly-ins and such?? hehehe.... I'm sure you veterans (hmmmm, does that read "old-timers"??) have lots of good ideas!

Throw those ideas out there!

Thanks!

Steph

These aint the lightest but they cheapest. Under 15 dollars you can buy everything at the airplanedepot/homedepot.

For the lightest and most expensive I recommend Flyties [flyties.com]

I have the Claw....wish I had to do it over again.

I have Flyties too. They hold very well in heavy weather and are easy to set up and remove.

I made a set of Chains and Nails. Yes, a little heavy to carry around but they work well.

That's what I use, and they kept my plane on the ground during the storm/tornado at Sun N Fun this year. I will admit that may have more due to luck than the tiedowns, though.
