Are the straight-tail 172s the ones with the O-300 engine? I understand those engines are really smooth.

They are smooth and perform really well since those are the lighter 172's. Another thing....she probably got paid with a free dinner and then joined up with all of her other girlfriends who also have fairy dust circling their eyes. It's the in thing.
It was bright blue eyeshadow in the 60's/70's....
