Hi Gary,

Does the 172 H2AD engine have the D2000/D3000 Dual Magneto? If so, be aware that Teledyne Continental which owns the rights to those Bendix Magnetos have said that they won't be supporting the D2000/D3000 single shaft dual magneto in the future. It might be wise to check on that issue going forward..

Hey Gary,

Sounds interesting I'm sure, but I think you'd be dissapointed with the overall performance (other than the extra space) after that 150 of your's.

I'm not a fan of the H2AD, always concerned me to have a duel mag of a single drive, kind of defeats the purpose if there is a drive failure don't you think eek

Now, if you were to re-engine it with a 180hp or greater, well then, that would be interesting....
