Thank you all for the welcome and kind words. I'm heading out to fly my 150 tomorrow for the first time solo if the WX in CT is good.

I posted a good picture of my 150. She does need some work as far as interior goes and needs some paint touch up. I'll be browsing the forums for tips and techniques.

It's great to hear all the good comments on the C150!

Thanks, again.

Wayne,

You can't keep a plane that nice in a town called Plain ville. You should definitely consider either buying an uglier plane or moving to Special ville.

Congrats on your PPL and your purchase.

Great looking plane you have there. I would love to see it

Way to go, Wayne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![Linked Image]

Here's to ya and the bird! May you have many years of safe flight and twice as much fun![Linked Image][Linked Image]

Is that a '77 "M" model? I noticed the wheel fairings, just like Gary did. Looks a LOT like Mary Lou - my girl.

Maybe that's why it's so pretty?!

Congrats on the PPL and the airplane!

I think you'll find this club and this forum very special. It's one of a kind.

Time to start planning your trip to Clinton, IA next July for our annual club fly-in.

Surf around on the forum for the details, but the fly-in is something you won't want to miss!

You guys are great!

Ed and Gary, my plane is a 1976 150M.

Ron S, I flew my training cross-country flight to SFZ over the summer. Nice place. What's going on at Glens Falls next weekend?

I flew my 150 today around the patch to get familiar with her. It looks like the weather is going to be nice tomorrow...more flying

It sure is nice to own a plane and fly when you want rather than try to schedule a time slot with a rental bird. But you guys already know that.
