I did it!

Just earned my Private License in a C172 and enjoy every minute of flying. I flew with my Dad years ago in the 150/152 and decided to buy a 150 after coming across a plane that caught my heart.

I did some research and did a thorough pre-buy inspection. This is my first post to this forum and I am new to the club. Keep up the great site!

Morning Wayne:

Sweet looking bird! Congratulations on the PPL in a 172; I hope to get my endorsement for the 172 in my upcoming BFR.

Welcome to the Club.... sit down and make yourself at home.

Thanks, Herb

Hello Wayne.

Congratulations on your license AND new plane. It really looks pretty. I like those later model pants on it, too. Is it a '77 model by chance? Ed Pataky has the same set up and his is nice, too.

Chime in on anything you like here. We'll answer questions on anything from oil to ice tea. When you can, fill in your bio by going to My home and editing your profile. Let us know where you're from and such.

Again great job on both the license and that beautiful plane.

Congrat's from Panama City Beach Fl. Fine looking plane, I'm sure you'll get a lot of fine time building in her.

Cool! I did just about all my training in a 172 also.

Now I mostly rent a 152, and I gotta say, it's a lot of fun to fly. I actually like it better than the 172 for most missions. Kind of like putting around in a fun little Mini Cooper vs. a Toyota Corolla.

Flies a little less like a truck, huh? I flew 172s before I flew a 150... now don't get me wrong, 172s a fine aircraft... just not as fun.
