I checked it out today. I didn't fly it though, I have a cold and my brains were foggy. I like it. But I didn't gather there was much wiggle room in the price. I spoke to Tom at First Flight for a pre-buy, focusing on the engine health. I will meet up with them both again tomorrow morning before heading north for my flight home. It didn't feel like the price was going to go down though.

We came to an agreement. I will leave a deposit in the morning before heading back up to SNA to get home. I think I owns me an airplane..

Congratulations, Matt! You'll really enjoy having your own plane to baby and take care of. It sure as heck beats the pants off of renting...and wondering what you'll find when you arrive at the airport.

Nice job.

Good for you Matt. Fasten your seatbelt ... it's going to be a good ride.

Thanks everyone. I now get to shop for insurance, while sitting down. I hope I can get the time, as well as the weather cooperating, to get it home in the next couple weeks.

Matt, you would be wise to plan in quite a bit of padding this time of year. If you are open to suggestions, I would plan coming up the east side of the mountains. Weather is typically more stable and friendly going that route. If you happen to come our way. Rest assured at a bed probably can be found either here in Grants Pass or in Medford.
